The Bronte Steakhouse is now featured in the Bridgestone Guide after being Awarded The Bridgestone Best in Ireland 2010 Award.

The Brontë is the perfect venue for travellers seeking to combine quality dining in an informal setting, with that extra stimulation for the mind. Set in the Brontë homeland, lovers of food and literature alike will adore our dining experience. 

Reverend Patrick Brontë, father of famed writers Charlotte, Emily and Anne, was born in the nearby village Drumballyroney, County Down. He preached and taught in the area surrounding the restaurant before moving to England.

The Brontë Steak House has been open for 14 years now and our walls are scattered with samples of the Brontë sisters’ work, making us popular with tourists. The restaurant offers a wide and varied A La Carte menu which includes our famous Brontë Steaks and Special Sauce. Also on the menu is an extensive range of homemade desserts, all prepared fresh on the premises.  A variety of Gluten Free dishes also feature on our menus.  We also now serve Glastry Farm Ice Cream which is made locally in Kircubbin, Co Down we offer a range of their ice creams with our homemade desserts.

We pride ourselves on our locally produced Finnebrogue Venison dish and Steak is a popular choice along with Chicken, Fish, Lamb and Duck, all sourced from Northern Ireland & Ireland.  Vegetables are all locally grown and fruit is bought from local farmers and traders.
